THE WIND DEFORMATION TOOL

With the Wind Deformation tool, you can make your text seem as if it were coming from far away and toward you. Simply add your text on a new layer, then go to the Image menu and choose Rotate. Rotate by 90 degrees to the left and then go to Layers, Merge, Flatten Image. From the Image menu, choose Deformations, then Wind. Apply the Wind filter at these settings: Rotate your text back into position. Now add a new layer and add text over the top of the text you just made blurry. Finally, activate the Wind layer. Right-click on the Shapes Selection tool, Tool Options, and set it to Rectangle. Starting at the top, select your new text and continue the selection to a position near the bottom of the canvas. Go to the Images, Deformations menu and choose Vertical Perspective. Set the Difference at 100.
