VIVID COLORS
Next time you're looking for a special effect, why not try the Channel Splitting
function? When you use this function, your image is split into different channels
(three or four separate images, depending on which channels you split) without
affecting the original image. As an example, open an image in Paint Shop Pro
and increase the color depth to 16.7 million colors. Now go to the Colors menu
and choose Channel Splitting, RGB. Three new greyscale images open in the
work area. Choose one (it doesn't matter which), then return to the Colors
menu and choose Invert. Return once again to the Colors menu and choose
Channel Combining. Now the images are put back together in one vividly
colored image.
