The "WET" stands for Weekend Theme. Each week the current Wet host invites someone to be the host for the coming weekend. Once the invitee accepts (hopefully by Tuesday), the current host announces the new Host with a post to the Newsgroup. The new host spends time frantically selecting one or more images of their choice and on Thursday they post them for all to download. The next four or five days are spent by the membership using the provided image(s) to create their own renderings. As usual, there are no rules. Everyone does their own thing and the results are exciting!

The WET is the highlight of the week and always results in many many creative submissions by the membership. Through this process we all learn from each other and get new ideas for our own creativity and artist efforts.
