ADDING MOTION TO AN ACTIVE IMAGE
You can use the Motion Blur tool to make a subject appear to be moving. Start by opening your image and clicking on the Lasso tool from the Tool Palette. In the Tool Options box, set the Selection type to Point To Point and check Antialias. Now outline your subject by clicking at each curve. Once you're all the way around, right-click to make your subject a selection. Go to the Edit menu, choose Copy, then return to the Edit menu and choose Paste As New Layer. Activate the Background Layer by selecting it from the Layers menu. Click on the Image menu and choose Blur, Motion Blur. Set the Angle to 36 and the Intensity to 38 pixels. The background becomes blurry in the specified direction. This method is great for adding movement to your Little Leaguer!
