Always wanted to be a golden girl or boy? Well, you can get that look with the Preset Chrome in Paint Shop Pro. First, open your image and convert it to greyscale by going to the Colors menu and choosing Greyscale. Second, increase the color depth so that you can use most of the filters in PSP. Return to the Colors menu and choose Increase Color Depth to 16.7 million colors. With the Lasso tool, select the main portion of the image. Choose Effects from the Image menu, then choose Chrome. Set the Flaws at 2 and the Brightness at 21. Now click on the white box under the Use Original Color option, and your Windows color picker will pop up. Choose a gold color, click OK, and click OK again in the Chrome dialog box. Invert your selection, then choose Invert from the Selections menu. Repeat the Chrome procedure for the inverse selection, and you've become a gold statue!
